Skyline of Richmond, Virginia

With the beautiful weather the past few days, the wait is especially hard!

I am less patient by the minute- if I had the raft already, I could have been out on the water this weekend…now, it will arrive with cold (and knowing my luck, snowy) weather that will stay with us until March.

Anyway, this weekend I put the hitch on the Eurovan (only took me three years to get around to that one!) and I have started getting the trailer ready. I’ll document progress in pictures as we go.

Be well,
Darin

I’ve been bad; I haven’t taken the time to post anything new and I can see that there are tons of people looking and I’m hearing nasty thoughts that I’ve not added content. Well…I’ve been busy, really busy! I’ve been contracting as a QA Analyst at a company in Roanoke and I have two more months on my contract here. I’ve also been gearing up to be a fishing guide for Mike Smith over at Greasy Creek Outfitters as well as just finishing a redesign of his website. The old site was fine, but I thought some background pictures of the New River give you more of a feel for what Greasy Creek Outfitters is all about.

Anyway, the new site is now live and although it will continue to evolve, I think it’s looking pretty good.

By the way, on the ‘guide’ aspect of my future life, Kristin and I have put together some fishing packages for the B and B- check out the specials page or just click here:
.

Well, have to run for now, but I promise to write more soon- I’m getting my raft next week and will post some pics and updates about the progress on that. Plus, I’ll make you all green with envy when I tell you about the trips I’m taking!

Be well,
Darin
