Local Floyd talent, Grace Note, will be performing at Black Water Loft on Friday, June 29th at 7:30pm. Grace Note consists of Bob Grubel on keyboards and lead vocals, Tom Williams on acoustic guitar, native flute, percusssion, and vocals, and Jack Bagby on bass and vocals. Bob Grubel provides most of the original material for the group. Noted for his engaging & healing lyrics, Grubel frequently writes about humanity’s relationship and responsibilty to the earth. Tom Williams adds his fine acoustic guitar to the sound. Tom has played with various ensembles throughout the US and in Europe. Jack Bagby has performed across the US and Europe as well, and in many country and blues bands. Grace Note has released two cd’s and the band’s special blend of music has been described by one reviewer as, “truly compelling and captivating”. Come see for yourself!
