A little late posting this, I guess, but Sunday Forest, Mike and I hit the river in the raft for the maiden voyage. Things went well from the boat’s perspective and I discovered some adjustments that I need to make- namely purchasing some oar rights to hold the oars in position correctly as it made it tough to accurately row.
It was a beautiful day to be on the water, which made it not as great to fish, but Forest was able to pull in a 19-1/2 inch smallie and Mike caught anothe smallie and a walleye. Not bad considering the fish were really not on.
I also suffered a near tragedy when my very much more than inexpensive camera got wet and quit working. I pulled the battery and allowed it to dry out over night and it is back like nothing happened. If anyone has suggestions on a waterproof case let me know, but I think I may take Forests advice in the near future on his camera which takes great pics, is less expensive than mine and darned near waterproof.
