Wow, what a storm we had yesterday! I’ve never seen it rain that hard here for so long. The river was running at 1500 feet per second yesterday and is up above 5000 cubic feet per second now! Hopefully it will recover in time for Saturday; I’d hate to have to reschedule.

On the bright side, after having the driveway done, the water drained properly now that we had it fixed right and the old asphalt was removed. It is soft in spots, but as soon as it’s dry enough (hopefully tomorrow) we’re getting gravel laid down and all will be well.
